Our Work Placements are open to all ages from 18 – 80.
A variety of placements from 2 weeks to 6 weeks and more.
Available anytime throughout the year.
No formal qualifications required.
The work you do is voluntary and does not carry a salary.
There is a charge to participate. This participation fee covers your food and accommodation, meeting you at the airport, transport to and from your placement, support and back up. All you will need is pocket money.
A fundraising option may also be available.

One of the truly great things about volunteering is its egalitarian nature. It does not matter how old or young, skilled or unskilled you are. With a little application and a lot of determination you could find yourself having a life-altering experience.

Your placement will be an excellent entry on your C.V. also.

Short Term Volunteers.

There are many worthy projects in the developing world that are in need of assistance.

Large organisations provide specialist professionals on long term contracts to provide aid. However, there are very few opportunities for short term volunteers, perhaps inexperienced in development work, to contribute their skills and enthusiasm.

There are many people in the developed world who would like to do short term voluntary work in the third world. These people want to work at the coalface and are seeking a direct and personal way to contribute to humanity. They want to be there, see what it is really like, enjoy a life changing experience, and to genuinely say they made a difference.

Working on Humanitarian Volunteer Projects is not to be confused with typical “Gap-Year” type programmes. You will work with the Poorest of the Poor. It will require total commitment and a lot of hard work. This is not a ticket to travel around Africa , Asia or anywhere else. On the contrary, this is an opportunity to serve mankind.
